Triple H Issues A Challenge

{"It's time to play the game" strikes the stage and the fans instantly know who it is. It has to be Triple H! And knowingly enough he steps out from the back in his jacket with the fans hollering for him.}



{Slowly, Triple H walks to the ring with his usual serious expression. A man of no jokes, he is. HHH gets to the end of the ramp and steps into the ring by going up the steps. He did his signature water taunt and stands in the center of the ring. The crowd is going berserk here in Providence. He is a hometown favorite as he grew up only a little drive away in Connecticut. Once in the ring he takes out a microphone and Triple H begins to speak..}



Triple H: I'm back... And you can damn sure bet that I'm back for a reason. Unlike other people, I don't do things for no reason. I am a cerebral assassin, everything I do has a purpose. So lately I've heard some rumors and I haven't liked these rumors. You see, everybody seems to think they know what they're talking about and they're trying to tell me what I don't have what I did back in the 90s will never happen again... But the fact of the matter is that all of you don't know. You're stubborn and ignorant fans sitting back on your laps at home thinking you know all about this business. This is a brutal sport, lives are taken, people are put at risk. I've been in the spotlight for a hell of a lot longer than the average wrestler.



Triple H: I've been dominating for longer than any of you ever could have. Most of you couldn't even step into this ring let alone stay dominant in it for almost twenty years. I am the King of Kings for a reason and none of you have any right to tell me otherwise. There is a reason that I am just that damn good and it's because there is nobody better than me. I am the biggest ass kicker that this industry will ever see. I don't care if I'm forty, hell I won't even care when I'm fifty, I'll still be able to stare into the eyes of any opponent and strike fear into his eyes.



Triple H: Honestly... The reason I'm here isn't because I want the money, or the fame, because I could care less about either. I'm here just to prove to every single annoying, arrogant, asshole of a fan in that crowd that my age is just what it is, a number. And to any wrestler who thinks just because I'm older than I used to be that I won't be able to hurt them just as badly as I could before then I'll be more than glad to see you come right out here and see if you're right. I promise you that I will plant you so hard into the ground with a pedigree that you'll end up right back in the year two thousand and then... And only then you'll see exactly what I mean.

Five long months. It's been five long months since I held a World Title. And I'm not talking about just any World Title, I'm talking about the most prestigious, most important, most fought for title in the world of professional wrestling, I'm talking about the TNA World Title.

TNA was my company, I built that company, I was the longest reigning World Champion in the history of that company. Each and every week I went out to that ring and proved all the doubters wrong, despite what they said about how I got the job done, despite if they claimed that I went about things the wrong way, that I took shortcuts, despite all of it I proved to each and every one of them that I was and still am the best that this business has to offer. Because at the end of the day it was my name in the Main Event, my name listed as the World Champion, and my face as the face of that company, of my company..

But then it was all taken away from me.. All those years building TNA from the ground up, all the sweat, all the blood, all the tears, everything.. taken away in the blink of an eye. And despite all the rumors that WWE had nothing to do with it I know the truth. I know that you had everything to do with it Hunter, I know that you and your step daddy Vince were the cause of TNA's demise and because of that I will be the cause of your demise!! Triple H, I will end you. I've faced the best wrestlers that this industry had to offer in TNA while you were facing the best entertainers in the WWE. I know what it takes to defeat the best, and trust me, you're not the best. I've studied your tapes, I know your weaknesses, and I will exploit them. And as much as you can try to do the same to me I might as well let you know now that it's impossible because I have no weakness. I never cared about the fans, I never cared about my friends, the only person that I ever cared about is myself, numero uno. As much as you might pretend to be "The Cerebral Assassin" the truth is that you're nothing more than a businessman. You have responsibilities to think about, you have a wife, kids, family to think of. But me? The only thing that I've been thinking of the past month is myself, and how I'm going kick your ass. This is a new generation Triple H, a generation of selfishness, and I, Bobby Roode, am the leader of the new generation. I am the IT Factor of Professional Wrestling and I will be the one to defeat The Game once and for all... Let that sink in Hunter, that feeling in the pit of your chest, that feeling is acceptance. Accept that your time has come to an end, that your generation of degeneration is over, and that the selfish generation has just begun. You issued a challenge, well I'm issuing a statement. Game. Over.

Triple H: Roode.. You might think that you're this great wrestler... You're numero uno, you're player one, but you can be player one all that you want to be because I am the whole damn game. Your mind games you're trying to play, I created them. I was the greatest champion of my era in the WWE and I had more accomplishments than you could dream of. I'm a ten time champion, Roode. And while you can sit there and bitch and complain all you want about the fact that WWE ended TNA, even if it isn't true, doesn't that just prove that WWE was better than TNA? WWE ending TNA means that TNA didn't stand a chance compared to WWE and that means you don't stand a chance against me. I'm the big leagues, Roode, you don't mean anything to me. And my family that you say holds me back? They're what puts me ahead. We unite, we stick together, we have more power than you could ever dream of. Pfft, TNA was willing to take anybody that the McMahons didn't want in WWE. Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Booker T, Kevin Nash, and the list can continue. You fought the rejects, Roode, your accomplishments are nothing. You can think you're this leader of this big fancy "Selfish Generation", but we all know that's just a name you tag yourself with to try and make people intimidated by you. But nobody gets inside the head of the cerebral assassin, nobody. If you want a match Roode, then you have it.
